Finishing herbs deserve their own decision

A small final choice can make a simple pizza feel considered.

A useful starting point

Think about the herb’s role in the recipe rather than scattering it automatically. Some recipes use herbs during preparation; others include them at the end. Follow an appropriate method and handle fresh ingredients hygienically. Choose a quantity that allows the other flavours to remain recognisable. More visible greenery does not necessarily make a better slice.

Bring it into your kitchen

Taste the finished combination and record the timing and quantity you used. If the herb was overwhelming or difficult to distribute, change that one detail next time. Keep decorative ideas secondary to the way the pizza is eaten. A finishing touch is successful when it improves the meal, even if the result looks quieter than a photograph prepared for social media.

Before your next pizza night

  • Follow the recipe’s timing.
  • Use a deliberate quantity.
  • Judge flavour before decoration.
